FAQ'S

HOW MUCH DO FIBER RETREATS COST?

Our #1 goal is making retreats affordable to everyone. The per person cost of a retreat varies depending on venue,  length, and time of year.  Classes and workshops are optional.

HOW DO I BOOK A RETREAT OR TOUR?

To book a retreat, send us an email, or phone 864-216-1408.  We accept credit cards, PayPal, payments by Square, and personal check.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND OR SPOUSE?

Of course!  A $25 retreat surcharge is assessed at the time of booking for non-knitters.

WHAT ARE RETREAT CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?

Varies by venue but the Big Lynn Lodge allows check-ins beginning at 3:00pm, check-outs at 11:00am. 

Want a different time? Ask the innkeeper.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

Pet policies vary by venue.  Carolina Fiber Retreats & Tours will publish pet policies whenever possible.  Its recommended that you check with the venue before bringing your pet.

Pets are not permitted on bus or van trips.

WHAT DOES THE RETREAT FEE INCLUDE?

Retreat fees include administrative costs.  Rooms and meals (usually breakfast and / or dinner) are extra and are handled between you and the venue.  Classes and workshops are optional.  Meal plans and classes offered are published on the booking page.

WHAT CLASSES ARE OFFERED AT RETREATS?

Carolina Fiber Retreats and Tours relies on feedback from prior retreats to determine what classes to offer.  If you have a suggestion for a class or teacher, let us know.

CAN I SPONSOR OR CO-SPONSOR A RETREAT?

Certainly.  Sponsorships levels and privileges are available to knit shops, independent yarn dyers, and manufacturers.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Retreat fees are non-refundable but can be applied to a future retreat or tour,

WHAT DO I BRING TO A RETREAT?

Dress is strictly casual.  Attire depends on the time of year.  Teachers may require you bring materials for a class.
