the story began in 2003...

that year avid knitter becky whitt was cruising the blue ridge parkway with her husband mike when she imagined a knitting retreat in the mountains of western north carolina.  a retreat, she believed, should be affordable, relaxing, uncomplicated, welcoming for all skill levels, and most of all - fun.

the next year becky's first retreat was a small undertaking - attracting a modest 18 knitters.  the next year and every year afterwards her retreats have grown to where dozens of knitters and fiber artists from all over the us and canada trek to the mountains for 3-4 days of fiber, friendship, and fun.

17 years later, becky remains true to her original vision - knitting retreats that are affordable, relaxing, uncomplicated, welcoming, and fun.
